General

These Terms and Conditions govern all print orders, design services, and transactions between Crayons (hereinafter "we", "us", or "the Company") and our clients (hereinafter "you" or "the Customer"). By submitting an order or engaging our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms in full.

Crayons reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.

Orders & Acceptance

All orders are subject to acceptance by Crayons. An order is considered confirmed only upon receipt of written confirmation from us (via email or other communication) and receipt of the agreed advance payment where applicable.

• Orders placed verbally or over the phone must be confirmed in writing before production begins.
• We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion, including orders for content we consider unlawful, offensive, or in violation of third-party rights.
• Any changes to an order after confirmation must be communicated immediately and may result in revised pricing or delivery timelines.
• Cancellation of a confirmed order may attract charges for work already completed or materials already procured.

Artwork & File Submission

The Customer is responsible for supplying print-ready artwork files that meet our pre-press specifications. Crayons is not liable for print quality issues arising from files that do not meet the required standards.

• All artwork must be supplied in CMYK colour mode at a minimum resolution of 300 DPI at the intended print size.
• Bleed, trim, and safe zone requirements must be observed as per our specifications shared at the time of order.
• Crayons will carry out a basic pre-press check but is not responsible for errors in spelling, grammar, layout, colour, or design that are present in the supplied files.
• If our design team creates or modifies artwork on your behalf, a proof will be sent for approval before printing commences. No responsibility is accepted for errors approved by the Customer.
• Font files and linked images must be embedded or outlined in all supplied artwork.

Colour Accuracy

We take great care to match colours as closely as possible to approved proofs and Pantone references. However, the Customer acknowledges that:

• Exact colour matching cannot be guaranteed due to inherent variations in offset printing processes, paper stock, and ink behaviour.
• Colours viewed on screen (RGB) may differ from printed output (CMYK). Screen proofs are for layout approval only and are not colour-accurate.
• A printed hard proof can be requested prior to full production runs at an additional cost.
• Minor variations within industry-accepted tolerances are not considered defects and do not constitute grounds for rejection or reprinting.

Pricing & Payment

All prices quoted are valid for the period specified in the quotation and are subject to change without notice thereafter. Prices are exclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.

• A minimum advance payment (as agreed at the time of order) is required before production commences.
• The balance payment is due upon completion and prior to delivery or dispatch of the finished goods, unless a credit arrangement has been agreed in writing.
• Crayons reserves the right to hold finished goods until full payment has been received.
• Any payment delays beyond the agreed credit period may attract interest at the prevailing rate.
• Prices quoted are for the specified quantities only. Changes in quantity will result in revised pricing.

Delivery & Turnaround

Estimated turnaround times are provided in good faith based on current production schedules at the time of order. They are not guaranteed delivery dates unless explicitly confirmed in writing.

• Production begins only after receipt of approved artwork and confirmed advance payment.
• Crayons is not liable for delays caused by factors outside our control, including but not limited to supply chain disruptions, equipment failure, or force majeure events.
• Delivery charges, if applicable, will be communicated at the time of order and are the Customer's responsibility unless otherwise agreed.
• Risk of loss or damage passes to the Customer upon handover to the courier or upon collection from our premises.

Quality & Complaints

We are committed to delivering the highest print quality on every order. In the event that you are not satisfied with your order:

• Any complaint must be raised within 48 hours of receiving the goods, with supporting photographs or samples provided.
• Complaints raised after this period may not be accepted.
• If a defect is confirmed to be our error, we will reprint or offer a suitable remedy at no additional cost.
• Overruns or underruns of up to 10% of the ordered quantity are within industry-accepted tolerance and do not constitute grounds for a claim.
• Crayons' liability is limited to the value of the specific print job in question and does not extend to consequential or indirect losses.

Intellectual Property

The Customer warrants that all artwork, images, text, logos, and other content supplied to Crayons for printing are owned by the Customer or that the Customer has obtained all necessary rights and permissions to reproduce them.

• Crayons accepts no liability for any intellectual property infringement arising from content supplied by the Customer.
• Any design work created by Crayons remains the property of Crayons until full payment has been received, upon which ownership transfers to the Customer.
• Crayons reserves the right to use printed samples of completed work for portfolio, display, and promotional purposes unless the Customer explicitly requests confidentiality in writing.

Prohibited Content

Crayons will not knowingly print material that is:

• Unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or offensive under applicable Indian law
• Infringing on the intellectual property rights of any third party
• Misleading, fraudulent, or intended to deceive consumers
• In violation of any applicable regulations, including those of the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI)

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at any stage if we become aware that the content falls into any of the above categories. In such cases, advance payments may be forfeited to cover costs already incurred.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crayons' total liability to the Customer for any claim arising out of or in connection with an order shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Customer for that specific order.

Crayons shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of data, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ernakulam, Kerala.
